Which van is the right one
Three cargo sizes. What decides is the volume and the width between the wheel arches — that one tells you whether a Euro pallet fits sideways.
A Euro pallet is 1200 × 800 mm, so it fits crosswise in all three vans — lengthwise the Ducato simply takes more of them.

What the rental costs
A short trip is charged at the hourly rate, everything else by the day — the longer you rent, the cheaper it gets. The price is final, with no hidden fees.
Renting a van from RIVAL car rental in Banská Bystrica starts at €35/day for a long-term rental. A single day is from €65, a rental of 4 – 10 days from €55/day. The Slovak motorway vignette is included; the prices apply to online bookings at pozicauto.sk.

Frequently asked questions
Can I rent a van for just a few hours?
Yes. A rental of up to 4 hours costs €39 instead of the full daily rate — just pick a pick-up and return time on the same day and the price recalculates itself. The rate applies on weekdays; at the weekend the ordinary daily price is charged.
Is a category B licence enough?
Yes. All our vans have a gross weight under 3.5 tonnes, so an ordinary B licence covers them. No extension and no training needed.
What if I damage the car?
The base price includes third-party liability insurance, roadside assistance in Slovakia and the motorway vignette. Third-party liability does not cover damage to the rented car — with the STANDARD package you pay for it in full. With the COMFORT or PREMIUM package (KASKO collision cover) you pay only a 10 % excess, at least €300 and at most €1,500. COMFORT also includes a replacement car in case of a breakdown. The package price depends on the vehicle class and you'll see it right in the booking.
How much is the deposit and when do I get it back?
The deposit is €200. We return it after we check the van's condition and mileage together; if you paid by bank transfer, within 5 working days.
What if I drive more kilometres than the price covers?
The price covers 200 km for every day of the rental. Each extra kilometre costs €0.15. For longer trips tell us in advance — we can agree a higher limit.
Can I take the van abroad?
Yes, anywhere in the European Union. You need a power of attorney from us, which we prepare at handover — just tell us which countries you're heading to.
Will you help me load and move things?
No, we don't provide moving or carrying services. You get the van delivered, washed and ready — you load it yourself or with your own crew.
Where do I pick the van up?
At our branch in Banská Bystrica, Zvolenská cesta 8, or in Štúrovo by the Aquario Shopping Center – you choose the branch right in the booking. We can also deliver the van to Zvolen, Brezno and elsewhere by arrangement.
